Full-stack engineer, 10 years. I lead development on a clinical order-management platform used across 12+ NHS hospital sites, and before that I wrote the software that drives cameras, printers and conveyors on pharma production lines. The four products below are ones I built for myself — and use every single day.

Lead front-end and back-end development on a progressive web app used by doctors, nurses and phlebotomists across 12+ NHS trust sites. Own technical decisions across seven microservices. Built the contraindication rules engine that checks every diagnostic order for drug allergies and clinical alerts before it reaches the lab. Shipped four production API optimisations — replacing sequential calls with batch endpoints, eliminating N+1 patterns, and diagnosing a deadlock that was failing 100% of order placements under load.
Wrote the C# software that runs pharmaceutical production lines: multiple Cognex cameras over Ethernet, printers, conveyors driven over serial, barcode and DataMatrix inspection, tamper-label verification, automatic rejection. Also built track-and-trace master-data systems for regulatory compliance, and a Blazor app hosted on the camera itself. Commissioned systems onsite for clients in the UK, Germany and the UAE.
